Dr. Ritankar Bhattacharya

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Biography

Hailing from the City of Joy, Kolkata, India, I chose to pursue a career in technology, unlike my father, who chose pure science. My curiosity eventually led me to Europe for my summer training during my bachelor’s program, and I was fascinated by the world beyond my country. Long story short, a year or two later, I landed in the United States to pursue my doctoral degree. Through thick and thin, I earned the right to use Dr. as a prefix and Ph.D. as a suffix with my name. I returned to India in March 2024 for a variety of reasons best kept to myself. I joined BMTE in late September 2025 and have been trying my luck at fitting into its research! Whosoever made it to the end of this, good luck and Godspeed for all your future endeavors! Cheers!
