Biography
I am a dentist and a material scientist with Masters in Nanotechnology and PhD in Medical Science and Technology (Custom dental prosthetics by ceramic dough shaping: Improved strength and aging resistance). Skilled in the fabrication of complex ceramic and metal components including dental and orthopedic implants using simple, cost-effective techniques.
My research is focused on near-net shaping technologies and additive manufacturing for the designing and development of prosthetics. We have explored a wide variety of materials from ceramics to metals and developed novel processes to fabricate dense-porous bilayer components and functional gradient
structures.
Always enthusiastic to learn new technologies and their alternative applications through out-of-the-box thinking. A detail-oriented person who would thrive in challenging situations.

Mitali Mishra
Biography
Being trained as Medicinal Plant Biotechnologist in academics as well as research institutions, I perceived knowledge of pharmaceutical aspects of ayurvedic medicinal plants. I believe the knowledge gained from Ayurvedic texts and evidence-based studies should be extended to modern medicine. In doctoral research, I am trying to explore the immunomodulatory and osteogenic potential of Ayurvedic formulations from tissue engineering perspectives. This would help in utilizing the age-old wisdom of Ayurveda for the development of newer drugs in modern medicine.
